Our Therapists

All of our therapists at Myocare are clinically-trained specialists, with training and certifications in Deep-Tissue modalities such as Neuromuscular Therapy, Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial and/or Sports Massage.  All of these modalities are similar in technique and are designed to address chronic pain issues like those listed on our Benefits page.  Each therapist is able to draw on this training to integrate techniques, providing treatment that is customized to the individual.

Schedule with the therapist whose TYPICAL quality of touch matches your preference, from GENTLE to VERY FIRM.  *NOTE: All therapists work within the client’s comfort level; “typical quality of touch” is merely a guideline.

Bonnie Gardner

I got hooked on massage 21 years ago after my first session when I realized how deeply healing it was. From there, I decided to dedicate my life to massage, earning my license in 2000 and have been practicing ever since. I am Board Certified by the NCBTMB and a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. My most recent accomplishment is becoming certified in Orthopedic Massage and I am currently working towards certification in Clinical Rehabilitative Massage.

Some of my favorite modalities to practice are Orthopedic, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy. During the intake and at the start of each session, I like to perform in-depth assessments so I can personalize the care I provide. My goal is to select the most appropriate and effective techniques that align with the unique needs and lifestyles of each one of my clients.
Every body is different and everyone has different objectives when they receive massage, whether that is pain reduction, injury prevention/recovery or management of a chronic condition. I see my role as a facilitator, not a fixer, and want to assist you in reaching your optimal health.

A little about me, I recently moved to W-S from the bustle of northern Virginia after my husband retired from the Navy. I enjoy doing anything that is outdoors, from hiking in the mountains to reading a book on the beach.
I look forward to working with you.

Ashley Bennett Groce

As a 2005 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, I sought after a calling to offer help to those in pain, but in a somewhat different way than most. Debbie Garner

Debbie Garner

With nearly 20 years experience as a fitness & yoga instructor and certified personal trainer, Debbie knows what’s involved in health & fitness. As an avid yogi, hiker, kayaker, paddle-boarder, road cyclist, mountain biker, motorcycle enthusiast, strength trainer, and casual runner, she also knows how these activities can affect your body. Structural imbalances and repetitive sports movements caused pain for her, and led her to seek relief through massage and bodywork. Thrilled with the result, she developed a passion for body awareness.

A thirst for knowledge around holistic wellness inspired her to study with the renowned Body Therapy Institute to become a licensed massage therapist, and later she trained to receive certification in Medical Massage. As her education in myofascial meridians increased, the connection between sports-related pain and structural imbalances became even more apparent. And integrating her background as a yoga instructor revealed Debbie’s specialty in breathwork. Exciting stuff!

As co-owner of Myocare, Debbie’s passion is helping others find relief from pain, and enhanced performance in daily activities – from chasing kids to walking dogs to running marathons. Everyone deserves to feel good!

Serving the Winston-Salem area with Deep Tissue Myofascial and Trigger Point Therapy. Find her at Myocare Neuromuscular Pain Clinic, and Dynamic Motion Chiropractic.

Tom Loffredo

Early in life I had an interest in the body as well as wholistic and complimentary therapies. Massage therapy and bodywork had always interested me. In 2001 I attended Southeastern School of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy in Charlotte, NC and it has been one of my best choices ever! Having a pull to work with structural and functional aspects of the body, I entered the KMI Structural Integration training program in 2012 in Atlanta, GA. To continue my understanding of the human body and to further help those experiencing pain or somatic dysfunction, I went on to study CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute in 2014 and continue on in my studies. I enjoy helping people resolve issues of pain, injury, trauma and structural imbalances. I specialize in KMI Structural Integration, CranioSacral Therapy, and Neuromuscular Therapy.

Therapies Offered

  • KMI Structural Integration
  • Craniosacral Therapy
