Michael Lang (NC License# 22752)

LMBT, MMT, NCPT, Qigong & Breathwork Instructor

A former professional dancer, tumbler, stuntman, and championship-level athlete, Michael brings a deep, firsthand understanding of movement, performance, and injury prevention to his clinical work.

Michael’s bodywork is a precise blend of Eastern-informed techniques and Western orthopedic principles. He specializes in Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, a clinically driven approach designed to restore optimal alignment, reduce pain, and retrain neuromuscular patterns for lasting postural change.

By integrating hands-on methods from Thai, Shiatsu, and Reiki, Michael enhances joint mobility, soft-tissue balance, and nervous system regulation—helping clients move with greater ease and efficiency.

In addition to corrective bodywork, Michael provides hands-on table-based stretching that blends Muscle Release Technique with Thai-assisted mobilization, allowing for deeper, more neurologically effective results than passive stretching alone. To support long-term progress, clients are given take-home strategies, including corrective Pilates exercises, Stick Mobility drills, and prescriptive Qigong and Breathwork techniques, reinforcing treatment goals and promoting durable, self-sustaining change between sessions & beyond.

Tom Loffredo (NC License# 8424):

Tom Loffredo

Early in life I had an interest in the body as well as holistic and complimentary therapies. Massage therapy and bodywork had always interested me. In 2001 I attended Southeastern School of Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy in Charlotte, NC and it has been one of my best choices ever!

Having a pull to work with structural and functional aspects of the body, I entered the KMI Structural Integration training program in 2012 in Atlanta, GA. To continue my understanding of the human body and to further help those experiencing pain or somatic dysfunction, I went on to study CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute in 2014 and continue on in my studies.

I enjoy helping people resolve issues of pain, injury, trauma and structural imbalances. I specialize in KMI Structural Integration, CranioSacral Therapy, and Neuromuscular Therapy.

Certifications

  • KMI Structural Integration
  • Craniosacral Therapy

She can perform swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic, trigger point therapy (especially for migraines), and prenatal. Her favorite technique is deep tissue, with the philosophy that deep tissue should not be painful!

She loves helping clients experience relief from chronic pain, injuries and recovering from surgery. One of her favorite things to do in session is to figure out how patterns of “being” are causing dysfunction and then how to resolve or change those patterns for greater mobility and less pain.

She lives on a big farm with her family, growing veggies and chasing after goats.

Debbie Garner (NC License# 14520):

Debbie Garner

With nearly 20 years experience as a fitness & yoga instructor and certified personal trainer, Debbie knows what’s involved in health & fitness. As an avid yogi, hiker, kayaker, paddle-boarder, road cyclist, mountain biker, motorcycle enthusiast, strength trainer, and casual runner, she also knows how these activities can affect your body. Structural imbalances and repetitive sports movements caused pain for her, and led her to seek relief through massage and bodywork. Thrilled with the result, she developed a passion for body awareness.

A thirst for knowledge around holistic wellness inspired her to study with the renowned Body Therapy Institute to become a licensed massage therapist, and later she trained to receive certification in Medical Massage. As her education in myofascial meridians increased, the connection between sports-related pain and structural imbalances became even more apparent. And integrating her background as a yoga instructor revealed Debbie’s specialty in breathwork. Exciting stuff!

As co-owner of Myocare, Debbie’s passion is helping others find relief from pain, and enhanced performance in daily activities – from chasing kids to walking dogs to running marathons. Everyone deserves to feel good!
